Execution
- Three-stage Roots pump system with a liquid ring vacuum pump as the backing pump which is operated in a closed operating liquid cycle. Tube-bank heat exchanger in redundant implementation for higher operational reliability. Intake volume flow of the combination of up to 2x 20,000 = 40,000 m³/h.
Special Features
- The Roots vacuum pumps of the first and the second intake stage consist of the same type of pump. The necessary grading between the pumps is attained through frequency converters. Due to the pumping concept, warehousing of spare parts is significantly simplified and the second stage is more rugged due to the necessarily reduced speed.
