Procedure
- Countercurrent column for drying biodiesel to a residual methanol content of less than 0.7% by weight.
Execution
- Countercurrent column with a closed inert gas circuit, with the carrier gas being conveyed via a single-stage liquid ring vacuum pump. The methanol is recovered in condensers on both the suction and pressure sides of the vacuum pump. A heat exchanger for heat recovery is installed in the biodiesel inlet and outlet. Ready-to-connect, scalable skid with complete measurement and control technology for a product flow of up to 12,000 kg/h crude oil.
